Chinese Erection in Tibet

"The Chinese authorities say they are putting up a huge statue of Chairman Mao Zedong in Tibet.

The 35-ton memorial is being built to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the former leader's death.

It is being erected in Gonggar County, near the Tibetan capital Lhasa, China's state-run news agency Xinhua said.

The statue will rise 7m from a 5m pedestal strengthened to withstand earthquakes. Mao Zedong ordered the Chinese takeover of Tibet in 1950."

And these are the people who are given a seat in the UN security council? This is the nation that is amongst those calling for Iran to give up its nuclear ambitions?

China, and practitioners of Sinicism (aka, Chinese culture), are rarely known for humanitarianism or eco-consciousness. This overly vaunted culture is little more than an effort to regularise and institutionalise the Freudian ID amongst the people for the sake of the Imperium - "for if we turn the people against each other, we can benefit in perpetuity", say the 2000 year Imperium. Many of the 'quaint' and 'exotic' aspects of Chinese culture play very insidious functions in directing human devolution. That is why China/Chinese is/are able to run roughshod over just about anything or anyone as and when it pleases as the finger on the trigger is deprived of the restraining force of popular conscience. Thus, Tibet. And perhaps Taiwan in the future.

the powers-that-are-allowed-to-be have demonstrated that the surest way of justifying their claims over other lands is to aggress, oppress, import 'their own', amongst other strategies, and over time, claim that it is 'in respect of the democratic principle' that 'the people' decide if they ought to secede. The English have done just that in Ireland just as the Chinese are sure to do in the future in the case of Tibet.

The only way to protect the people against this is via the Principle of Reversion - where attempts to abuse the 'democratic' principle by the aggressors in the name of 'the people' is shunned and the region reverts to the political state it was in prior to external aggression. This is the only protection any people can have against the continued enaction of the aforementioned formula. All dissenters can be provided with the requisite transport to be relocated in the motherland should they choose such a unionist stance - at the expense of the said motherland of course.
